Is natural skin care better for your sensitive skin?

In the past few years, many women are opting for natural anti aging skin care, choosing products from companies like Jurlique, which focus on ingredients from herbs and flowers to create their skin care products.

Some women with sensitive skin, are also wary of choosing completely synthetic skin care products.

However Skin Sense: June 2008 (washingtonpost.com) reports:

“Some of the most effective anti-aging ingredients, such as retinoids, are synthetic compounds. Using a natural or organic skin care product does not prevent adverse reactions to topical preparations. Many fragrance ingredients are natural products and can be derived from organic sources, but they can still cause allergic reactions in susceptible people. That said, there are still reasons to choose natural or organic products.”

So what’s best? Natural or synthetic?

Ultimately, you choose. There’s no guarantee that you won’t have a reaction to natural products if your skin is sensitive, unfortunately. When you’re trying a new product, test it first, on the skin of your inner elbow, and wait for 24 hours to see whether you have a reaction.

Eye Wrinkle Treatment Creams and Gels

Because the skin around your eyes is less thick, it’s more prone to fine lines and creases - wrinkles. Once these crows-feet lines begin appearing, it’s time to look for a solution to smooth them out - an eye wrinkle cream.

There are so many to choose from, and you can make your selection based on your own personal preferences.  Whether you want natural or surgical, cheap or expensive, there is an eye wrinkle treatment that will fit your criteria.

There are many natural eye wrinkle treatments available to reverse the aging process.  The most basic way to treat eye wrinkles naturally is to drink a lot of water.  Water improves the overall appearance of the skin by hydrating it, and it can do wonders to reduce eye wrinkles.  The amount of water that you drink each day depends on where you live and your life style; however, typically, the average person should drink approximately eight glasses of water each day.

There are other types of eye wrinkle treatment that are natural, consisting of ingredients that can be applied to the face.  One natural eye wrinkle treatment is raw egg and lemon.  Others include avocado, tomatoes, and honey.

Wrinkle fillers are also another option for eye wrinkle treatment.  A filler is injected into the skin near the eyes and it fills the wrinkles from underneath.  While there are many different types of wrinkle fillers, ones that are based on animal or human fat should not be used near the eyes, because if the fat enters the bloodstream then blindness could occur.  The procedure, which is relatively painless, lasts between 30 and 60 minutes.

Most cosmetic manufacturers who make creams for mature skins have eye wrinkle creams and gels in their ranges; the choice is up to you.
