Anti aging skin care: inflammation does damage

Did you know that many of the signs of aging like wrinkles are due to inflammation?

“That inflammation is largely responsible for aging and age-related illness and disease, such as heart disease, wrinkles, sagging skin, and diabetes.

That cells become inflammed when exposed to certain factors, such as an inflammatory diet, hormone changes, exposure to taxins (i.e., a cigarette), and ultra-violet rays.

That by controlling inflammation, aging and disease associated with aging can be minimized.
To combat aging of the skin, Dr. Perricone suggests a three-tiered approach:  eat an anti-inflammatory diet, ingest targeted nutritional supplements that work to control inflammation, and use topical skin care products that work in conjunction with the other two tiers to produce the desired results.”
