Better skin with fewer products
How many skin care products do you use? You may be using too many.
The Cosmetics Restriction Diet – New York Times reports:
“Dr. Cook-Bolden is part of a back-to-basics movement among dermatologists. At a time when beauty companies are introducing an increasing number of products marketed for specific body parts —including necks, creases around the mouth and eyelids — or for apocryphal maladies like visible pores or cellulite, these doctors are putting their patients on cosmetics restriction diets.”
Dr. Cook-Bolden says: “Just two products, a gentle cleanser and a good sunscreen, are enough daily skin care for most people, and you can buy those at a drugstore or a grocery store.”
So, put clear out your bathroom cupboard and get rid of all those product. You skin may look better. And of course, it will save you money too.
I’ve been creating my own skin care products with essential oils – not only does my skin look and feel better, it’s saving me money too.
